April was a huge success for the King Springs Elementary Foundation. The Party for the Pride was a terrific opportunity for our KSE families and staff members to enjoy food, fun and fellowship and our 8th Annual Golf Tournament teed off with a record number of golfers both while helping to fundraise to support KSE. With the help of our very generous parents and sponsors, we are proud to announce that we raised just under $25,000!
Our Technology Resource Coordinator has proven herself to be invaluable to our teachers, and our fundraising efforts have enabled us to secure Monica Erwin's expertise for the 2015-16 school year! The Foundation also expects to be able to again offer stipends to our fabulous teachers for additional training during the summer and next school year. Thank you to all of our hard-working parent volunteers, party-goers and golfers who helped make the Foundation's inaugural year a resounding success!

April 25 - Spring Pine Straw Sale with The Straw Farm
A shout out to The Straw Farm for all their hardwork to quickly pull together Plan B when the threat of heavy rains changed our plans for our April 25th straw sale. We appreciate all of their extra effort to get the straw delivered to those in our KSE community that preordered their straw. Many thanks to The Straw Farm for donating pine straw to spruce up our grounds this spring too!
